Harvey Joiner, son of the late Columbus and Annie Bell Avant Joiner was born on July 30, 1936, in Batesville, Mississippi.
Harvey was a devoted deacon at Harrisonville M.B. Church for over a decade. He always assisted in deacon duties and the grounds at the church. Harvey enjoyed many things, but being a devoted husband of 45 plus years to his wife, Myrtle Mae, being in the house of the Lord and lending a helping hand to others, were always at the top of the list.
Harvey was a jack of all trades, with a work ethic that was indescribable. He started his own construction business, Joiner Cement Finisher, in the 1960’s.
Harvey was loved by so many, but on February 3, 2026, God called him home to be with his loving wife, Myrtle. He will be deeply missed. His lasting memories will live on forever .
Harvey is preceded in death by his loving wife: Myrtle Mae; Brothers: Robert Earl, WD, James L, and Willy; and sisters: Angie, Thelma, and Rose.
To cherish his memory, he leaves his son: Tracy Joiner; his brother: Columbus Jr., and his sister: Clara Bell-Henderson. Harvey passes the legacy to his 5 grandchildren: Shaquore, Dominique, Camry, Tristan, and Taylor; one great grandchild: Zaiyah Jeter; and host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
